Established in 1958, the GRAMMY Awards recognize outstanding achievement across the music industry – the music equivalent to the Emmy Awards for television, the Tony Awards for stage, and the Academy Awards for film.  The annual awards ceremony features performances by prominent artists, and the awards of more popular interest are presented in a widely viewed televised ceremony.  The 53rd GRAMMY Awards will be telecast live on CBS on Sunday February 13, 2011 beginning at 8:00 pm ET/PT.
