Kia and Infinity Turn Up the Volume at the Detroit Auto Show 

The North American International Auto Show opened on Monday, January 11 in Detroit, Michigan with two days of press and industry events.  The show opens to the public for two weeks beginning Saturday, January 16.  More than 800,000 attendees are expected and more than 7,000 international media from some 70 countries are currently in Detroit for the show. 

 

 

 

Harman is pleased to be a part of the Detroit Auto Show supporting many of our automotive customers.  Typical of these efforts is the Kia/Infinity Sound Lounge, showcasing the launch of the all new 2011 Kia Sorento, equipped with audio systems from our Infinity brand.  Along with this exclusive preview, the lounge is equipped with home systems from our Infinity and Lexicon brands that will allow audio enthusiasts to enjoy the same great sound at home that they take on the road. Highlights of the sound lounge include the following products:

The Harman/Kia sound lounge was a highlight of the press days and will be used for a variety of purposes during the industry days, a charity preview dealer party and throughout the public days.  Mr. Byung Mo Ahn, President of Kia Motors, along with other senior executives, expressed his thanks to the show team for their excellent support.  

Kia Motors currently offers Infinity audio systems on six premium packaged vehicles, including the 2011 Sorento, Optima, Borrego, Sedona, Amanti and Rondo.
