WHITEPAPERS
Optimal Configurations for Subwoofers in Rooms Considering Seat to Seat Variation and Low Frequency Efficiency: Color Plots
These are color versions of grayscale plots which were included as an Appendix in the 133rd Audio Engineering Society Convention Paper 8748, "Optimal Configurations for Subwoofers in Rooms Considering Seat to Seat Variation and Low Frequency Efficiency”, by Todd Welti.  They show various performance metrics for a number of different subwoofer configurations, for various seating configurations and room dimensions.  A large amount of information is packed into these plots, which may be useful in the design of home theaters, listening rooms, etc.  The larger and more detailed color plots shown here could not be included in the original paper (only grayscale plots allowed). The original paper can be purchased for a nominal fee form the Audio Engineering Society: http://www.aes.org/e-lib/
