HARMAN Additional Privacy Notice for Individuals Located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland

This Additional Notice applies to you if you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland and the data protection laws in those jurisdictions apply to HARMAN's processing of your Personal Information.
This Additional Notice supplements HARMAN's Privacy Notice. The disclosures in the Privacy Notice also apply to you unless otherwise noted herein.
Cross-Border Data Transfers
HARMAN relies on appropriate mechanisms for cross-border data transfers to ensure that appropriate safeguards for the transfer are in place. To govern the cross-border transfer of Personal Information from the EEA and Switzerland, HARMAN generally relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the European Commission. For transfers of Personal Information from the UK, HARMAN uses the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement.
Individual Rights
You have the right to request access to the Personal Information HARMAN collects about you, and to request that HARMAN update, correct, or delete your Personal Information as provided by applicable law. In certain circumstances, you have the right to object to or restrict HARMAN's processing of your Personal Information. In addition, you have the right to request a copy of your Personal Information in a readable format.
You may withdraw your consent if HARMAN relied on your consent as its legal basis for processing your Personal Information. Any withdrawal will apply only going forward and will not affect any previous processing activities that relied on your consent.
You can exercise these rights through HARMAN's Data Inquiry and Privacy Request website. HARMAN will respond to your requests in accordance with applicable data protection law.
If you believe that your Personal Information has been processed in violation of applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you reside, where you work, or where the alleged violation occurred.
